*coughs* Anyhoo, this is fanart for silverskye13 ‘s fanfiction Casting Rain. The scene in question is in Chapter 9 and just stuck with me. I am sorry that I couldn’t quite get the “fire billowing behind him and lacing through the cracks in his armor like some twisting cape in the wind” part. Turns out chainmail is often laid over a leather jerkin or tunic that helps with comfort and protection.

I HIGHLY recommend this fanfic if you like Wartime! Grillby and Wartime! Gaster. It’s friggin hilarious and very well written.
